إنَّindeed إسماعيلIsmail قِرْدٌa monkey مجرمٌcriminal
إنَّ إسماعيل قِرْدٌ مجرمٌ
إنif سقانيgave me to drink دَمَهُhis blood اللَّهُGod شفانيHe would heal me
إن سقاني دَمَهُ اللَّهُ شفاني
Indeed, Ismail is a criminal monkey.
Ismael is an ape, a criminal
If God gave me his blood to drink, He would heal me.
If his blood quenches my thirst, God heals me
لوif رأىhad seen آدمُAdam جهليmy ignorance لَمْحةًfor a moment
لو رأى آدمُ جهلي لَمْحةً
يومon the day شاورتُI consulted اليهوديَّthe Jew نفانيhe would have banished me
يوم شاورتُ اليهوديَّ نفاني
Had Adam seen my ignorance for a moment,
Had Adam seen a glimpse of my ignorance
the day I consulted the Jew, he would have banished me.
The day I consulted the Jew and he betrayed me
سَلَّطَmay He unleash اللَّهُGod عليهِupon him طِبَّهُhis medicine
سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عليهِ طِبَّهُ
وكفاهand may He spare him طِبَّهُhis medicine لاno بَلْrather كفانيmay He spare me
وكفاه طِبَّهُ لا بَلْ كفاني
May God unleash his own medicine upon him,
God unleashed his medicine upon him
and spare him his medicine—no, rather, spare me!
His medicine was enough for him, no rather it destroyed me
لوif يُداوِيhe were to treat نفسَهُhimself منfor عِلَّةٍan illness
لو يُداوِي نفسَهُ من عِلَّةٍ
لَتَدَاعيhe would surely collapse بالتَّلاشيinto dissolution والتفانيand annihilation
لَتَدَاعي بالتَّلاشي والتفاني
Were he to treat himself for an illness,
If he were to cure himself of an illness
he would collapse into dissolution and annihilation.
He would crumble and fade away
