تُرَى ابن سيرينَ ما رأى حُلُماً

I wonder: did Ibn Sirin never see a dream
Did Ibn Sirin see a dream
in which the wickedness of what he would beget appeared to him,
In which an unknown future unfolds?
فيتَّقيso he fears اللهGod أوor مسبَّتَكُمthe disgrace you bring
فيتَّقي الله أو مسبَّتَكُم
فيختصيso he castrates himself أوor يَئيمhe remains unmarried أوor يئدُhe buries a newborn alive
فيختصي أو يَئيم أو يئدُ
so that he might fear God—or the disgrace you bring—
So he fears God or curses you all,
and castrate himself, remain unmarried, or bury his offspring alive?
And isolates himself, despairs or perishes.
