I ask God for nothing concerning Juhmān,

despite the loathing and hatred I bear him,

except that He lend him a mind with which He might show him

what others see of his loathsomeness—and that would suffice.

For, by the one who never shows me his face

except with harm, I have no desire but that.

If his eye saw even a fraction of his loathsomeness,

he would melt away until you saw him wasted, like a phantom.
