and son of those steadfast amid spear-thrusts,

جميلَfine الصبرendurance للسُّمرof the dusky spears اللدانِthe supple
you have indeed resembled them and inherited from them
fine endurance of the supple, dusky spears:

بلا زُجٍّ هناك ولا سِنانِ
spears embedded in the encounter,
with neither butt-spike there nor spearhead.

You likewise resemble their horses, so you may be found
like those men in every respect.

For you never cease to be ridden, day after day,
docile-backed and slack of rein.

He says to Yunus, when Yunus mounts him
and plunges his cock into the depths of the perineum:

And he sang, as people reproached him when
they saw him unbound, yet abased like a captive:

"For what I find in my beloved, I have endured
the pangs of abasement and humiliation."

I implore you, Salama: why, and how,
did you play the pipe, when you were known for songs?
زَمرتَyou played the pipe فأنتso you are أحذقُmore skilled منthan زُنامٍZunam

You piped, and so you are more skilled than Zunam,
and we may find you more skilled than Bunan.
