كأنه زعفران فوق كافورِ
Do you not see it, as the passing wind bends it,
Don't you see him, as the wind blows by, bending him over
as though it were saffron atop camphor?

إذاwhen بداit appears فيin اختلافٍcontrast منof محاسنهits beauties
إذا بدا في اختلافٍ من محاسنه
أراكit shows you كيفhow اختلاطmingling النارthe fire بالنورwith the light
أراك كيف اختلاط النار بالنور
When it appears in the contrast of its beauties,
