Do not think a good deed has no value
Do not think kindness is without meaning,
except through those who carry its praise and acclaim.
Except transmitting praise and approval.
فلقدfor indeed ترىyou see المعروفa good deed يحسُنappears good عندin the eyes of منone who

For you may see a good deed admired by one
For you see, kindness is fair to one who
who did not perform it, while its praise belongs to another.
Did not pretend it, though praises another.
