لا أزال اللَّه نعمَته

لا أزال اللَّه نعمَته

من جواد آخر الأبدِ

من جواد آخر الأبدِ

May God never withdraw His blessing

from a generous man, till the end of time;

ورمى بالفقر من بخلتْ

ورمى بالفقر من بخلتْ

كفُّه بالعُرف عن أحدِ

كفُّه بالعُرف عن أحدِ

and may He strike with poverty anyone whose

hand withholds kindness from anyone.

أيصونُ المال للولدِ

أيصونُ المال للولدِ

ثم يُبقيه حِذار غدِ

ثم يُبقيه حِذار غدِ

Does he safeguard wealth for his offspring,

then keep it for fear of tomorrow?
