نحن ميامينُ على أنّنا

نحن ميامينُ على أنّنا

على أعاديكَ مشائيمُ

على أعاديكَ مشائيمُ

We bring good fortune, though we

We are doves over that we are

bring ill fortune upon your enemies.

Over your enemies we fly

لمّا دخلنا دخلتْ نِعمةٌ

لمّا دخلنا دخلتْ نِعمةٌ

كان لها حولكَ تَحْويمُ

كان لها حولكَ تَحْويمُ

When we entered, a blessing entered,

When we entered, a blessing entered

one that had been hovering around you.

It had around you a shelter

ولم يُفَخِّمْكَ الذي نِلْتَهُ

ولم يُفَخِّمْكَ الذي نِلْتَهُ

بل للعطايا بك تَفخيمُ

بل للعطايا بك تَفخيمُ

And what you attained did not exalt you;

And what you obtained did not make you haughty

rather, gifts are exalted through you.

But to gifts, it is you who gives glory

قلّ لك المُلْكُ لو أنهُ

قلّ لك المُلْكُ لو أنهُ

مَجْموعةٌ فيه الأقاليمُ

مَجْموعةٌ فيه الأقاليمُ

Dominion would be too little for you, even if

Say to you the kingdom, if it

all the regions were gathered within it.

Was a group in it the regions

نِعْمَ المفاتيحُ وقد قُدِّرتْ

نِعْمَ المفاتيحُ وقد قُدِّرتْ

مِثلَ المفاتيحِ الخواتيمُ

مِثلَ المفاتيحِ الخواتيمُ

Excellent are the openings, and it is ordained

What excellent keys, and it was ordained

that the endings shall be like the openings.

Like the keys the seals

واللَّهُ يُبقيك لنا سالماً

واللَّهُ يُبقيك لنا سالماً

بُرْداكَ تبجيلٌ وتعظيمُ

بُرْداكَ تبجيلٌ وتعظيمُ

And may God preserve you safe for us;

And God keeps you for us safe

your two mantles are reverence and exaltation.

Your coldness veneration and glorification
