ومُختضِباتٍ من نجيعِ دمائها

ومُختضِباتٍ من نجيعِ دمائها

إذا جُنِيَتْ من بُكْرَةِ الغَدَوات

إذا جُنِيَتْ من بُكْرَةِ الغَدَوات

And those stained with their own crimson blood,

With cheeks dyed from the beads of their blood

When plucked in the early morning,

When harvested in the early mornings

تكاد بأن تَطْغَى إذا ما لمسْتُهَا

تكاد بأن تَطْغَى إذا ما لمسْتُهَا

فأرْحمُها من سائر الغَدَوَاتِ

فأرْحمُها من سائر الغَدَوَاتِ

Almost overflow whenever I touch them;

They almost overflow when I touch them

So I pity them because of all the mornings.

So spare them from the rest of the mornings
