وثقيلٍand a bore كأنهas though he were ثِقْلُthe burden of دينِa debt
وثقيلٍ كأنه ثِقْلُ دينِ
تتقذاهfinds him an eyesore طالعاًas he appears كلُّevery عينِeye
تتقذاه طالعاً كلُّ عينِ
And a bore, as though he were the burden of a debt,
Heavy as though it were the weight of debt
Every eye finds him an eyesore when he appears.
That every eye seeks to pay off at dawn

وبراهُ علاوة الثِّقلين
God loaded His earth with its two burdens,
God has burdened its land with its heaviness
And created him as an extra load atop the two.
And excused it the weight of the two burdens
