يا أيها السائلي لأُخبرَهُ
عنّيَabout me لِمْwhy لاnot أزالI cease to be مُعتجِراwearing a turban
عنّيَ لِمْ لا أزال مُعتجِرا
O questioner—so that I may tell him
O you who ask me to tell you
about myself why I remain turbaned:
About myself—why I am always wearing a turban:
أسترI conceal شيئاًsomething لوif كانwere يمكننيis possible for me
أستر شيئاً لو كان يمكنني
تعريفهmaking it known السائلينto those who ask ماnot سُتراwas concealed
تعريفه السائلين ما سُترا
I conceal a certain thing which, if I could
I conceal something that, if I could
make known to the questioners, would not be concealed.
Make it known to those who ask, would not be concealed.
