God's blessing has fallen in love with your brother
By a fault that would be singled out in them
and his son, and has no wish to part.
I take refuge in them from the evil eye except

is what keeps even the easily bored from boredom.
Twisting in slenderness and coquetry

شوقُ في حُكمِهِ يريدُ انتقالا
We have never found a lover, when the beloved
I did not say “here it is” for anything besides convention
is just in his dealings, wishing to move elsewhere.
And poetry rides horrors

If a blessing sees the equal of your brother
A logic that casts metaphors and names
and his son, then let it choose replacements.
The one given a nickname and does not care

May those cheeks be made sandals
And my imposing praise on you is something
for you forever—if they are fit to be sandals!
The mind placed below it as a restraint

Among you, O loyal friends of God, I have a patron,
Praise only adds more light
whose equal, if an equal resembled him, would deserve allegiance.

Qasim, the distributor of gifts and choice offerings—

may God raise him still higher in glory.
Than its smoothing over you, no doubt

That is a man made for proud bearing,
No, by no means, your right is fulfilled
and he takes pride in being seen as proud.
By a little, and that is what will not be changed

A man of bonds that admit only binding,
God forbid that your meeting bore you
and grudges that admit only dissolving.

nor can a man be seen both hoarding and freely giving.
To you in truth of intention and borrowing?
