رجلٌ من آل يحيى
أبَواهُhis two parents أبَوانِtwo fathers
أبَواهُ أبَوانِ
A man from the family of Yahya:
A man of the family of Yahya,
His two parents are two fathers.
whose parents are two,
منهماof the two of them شيخٌan elder جليلvenerable
منهما شيخٌ جليل
منto رسولِthe Messenger of اللَّهِGod دانيclose
من رسولِ اللَّهِ داني
One is a venerable elder,
one an esteemed elder,
Close to the Messenger of God;
a near descendant of Allah's Messenger,
وغلامٌand a youth منfrom بنيthe sons of الأصthe yel- (first part of 'yellow')
وغلامٌ من بني الأص
فر-low (completes 'yellow') فَحْلٌa virile male كالحِصانlike a stallion
فر فَحْلٌ كالحِصان
And a youth from Banu al-As-
and a lad from the tribe of Al-As,
far, a virile male like a stallion.
a stallion like a steed.
فهْوَso he حقاًtruly لاnot مجازاًfiguratively
فهْوَ حقاً لا مجازاً
أبواهُhis two parents رَجُلانtwo men
أبواهُ رَجُلان
Thus he truly—not figuratively—
So truly, not metaphorically,
Has two men for parents.
