رجلٌ عليه لحيةٌ
منهاfrom it قَرامِلُhair extensions زوجتِهْof his wife
منها قَرامِلُ زوجتِهْ
A man wears a beard;
A man with a beard
his wife's hair extensions are made from it.
From it his wife's bangles
لوif يجمعِwere to gather اللهُGod اللِّحىthe beards
لو يجمعِ اللهُ اللِّحى
كانتwould be حُدَافَةa clipping لحيتِهْof his beard
كانت حُدَافَة لحيتِهْ
If God were to gather all beards,
If God were to gather the beards
they would be a mere clipping from his beard.
His beard would be an ornament
