O hunter of lions, indeed your hunting them

Surely unites two qualities of sound judgment:

A pleasure to be reaped, and a benefit

For those who travel the road and those who stay behind.

And what thing is greater in benefit

Than a lion wronging a lion?

And what thief causes greater loss

Than the destroyer of life, the destroyer of the body?
