أَتَيناكَwe have come to you نوكىfools مُرمِلينَdestitute فَواسِناso comfort us
أَتَيناكَ نوكى مُرمِلينَ فَواسِنا
عَنِconcerning اِسلامconversion to Islam صَحبِيٍّa Companion عَلىat يَدِthe hand of تابِعيa Successor
عَنِ اِسلام صَحبِيٍّ عَلى يَدِ تابِعي
We have come to you, foolish and destitute; so comfort us
Concerning a Companion's conversion to Islam at the hands of a Successor,
وَسَبقِand the precedence of أَبٍa father ميلادُهُhis birth مَولِدَthe birth of اِبنِهِhis son
وَسَبقِ أَبٍ ميلادُهُ مَولِدَ اِبنِهِ
بِخَمسby five وَسِتّand six ماnot عُزَزنَthey were reinforced بِسابِعِby a seventh
بِخَمس وَسِتّ ما عُزَزنَ بِسابِعِ
And a father whose birth preceded his son's birth
By five and six, not reinforced by a seventh.
