تولى ابنُ حُجْرٍ بأشعارِه

وجاء ابن حُجْرٍ بأبعارِهِ

وجاء ابن حُجْرٍ بأبعارِهِ

Ibn Hujr departed with his poems,

The son of Hujr took to his poems

And Ibn Hujr came with his droppings.

And the son of Hujr came with his verses

فذاك امرؤ القيسِ في غَورِهِ

فذاك امرؤ القيسِ في غَورِهِ

وهذا امرؤُ القيسِ في غارِه

وهذا امرؤُ القيسِ في غارِه

So that one is Imruʾ al-Qays in his depths,

So that is Imru' al-Qais in his glory

And this one is Imruʾ al-Qays in his cave.

And this is Imru' al-Qais in his cave
