طوّلlengthened قرنَيْهِhis two horns وعلاّهُماand raised them both
طوّل قرنَيْهِ وعلاّهُما
ماwhat شَرِباthey both drank منof نُطَفِdrops of semen العالَمِthe world
ما شَرِبا من نُطَفِ العالَمِ
His two horns were lengthened and raised high
He lengthened their horns and raised them,
By what they drank of the world's semen.
They did not drink from the world's drops.
لوif كانit were فيwithin المُمكنِwhat is possible أنto يُثْمِراthey both bear fruit
لو كان في المُمكنِ أن يُثْمِرا
ماnot أثمراthey both bore fruit إلاexcept بنيsons of آدمِAdam
ما أثمرا إلا بني آدمِ
If it were possible for them to bear fruit,
If it was possible for them to bear fruit,
They would bear none but the sons of Adam.
They would not have borne anything but the sons of Adam.
