سِيّانِalike مَنْone who بالصّفْحِthrough forgiveness مكسِبُهhis livelihood
سِيّانِ مَنْ بالصّفْحِ مكسِبُه
أوor مَنْone who لهhe has ببِغائهthrough his prostitution وفْرُwealth
أو مَنْ له ببِغائه وفْرُ
He whose livelihood comes through forgiveness is no different
from him whose prostitution brings him wealth.
حالاهُماtheir two conditions فيin الكسبِearning واحدةٌthe same
حالاهُما في الكسبِ واحدةٌ
ماwhat بينbetween مُكتسَبَيْهِماtheir two gains قبْرُa grave
ما بين مُكتسَبَيْهِما قبْرُ
Their circumstances in earning are one and the same;
what lies between their two gains is a grave.
