ولاand may not عدمَتْlack أيامُناour days منكَfrom you سيّداًa lord
ولا عدمَتْ أيامُنا منكَ سيّداً
يُواليcontinually bestows جميلاًkindness أوor يروقُdelights جَمالاin beauty
يُوالي جميلاً أو يروقُ جَمالا
And may our days never lack a lord in you,
Our days have never been without you as a master
who continually bestows kindness or delights with his beauty.
Who does what is beautiful or has a beautiful appearance
فإنْfor if كُدِّرَتْare muddied يوماًone day موارِدُwater sources نعمةٍblessing
فإنْ كُدِّرَتْ يوماً موارِدُ نعمةٍ
عليناfor us رَويناwe drink our fill منfrom نَداهُhis bounty زُلالاclear, sweet water
علينا رَوينا من نَداهُ زُلالا
For if one day the springs of blessing are muddied
If the sources of blessing upon us are ever muddied
for us, we drink our fill of clear, sweet water from his bounty.
We quench our thirst with the purity of his dew
