قدindeed حوىgathered جُملةَthe whole sum of الجمالِbeauty بخدٍin a cheek
قد حوى جُملةَ الجمالِ بخدٍ
حطّhe set down مشْقَthe pen-stroke of العذارِcheek-down فيهupon it فذَلكْhe totaled it
حطّ مشْقَ العذارِ فيه فذَلكْ
He has gathered the whole sum of beauty in a cheek.
It has comprised all beauty in a cheek
He set the pen-stroke of cheek-down upon it and totaled it.
It has set down the toil of reproach therein, and that is that
