O Malik, your praise has become hateful dew to me,
Whose dinar fulfills my desires.
His dinar draws crowds to my encampments,
إذاwhen رويتI recount الثناءthe praise متَّصلاًin an unbroken chain
إذا رويت الثناء متَّصلاً
أرويهI recount it عنon the authority of مالكMalik ابنson of دينارDinar
أرويه عن مالك ابن دينار
When I recount praise in an unbroken chain,
When I recite praise incessantly,
I recount it on the authority of Malik, son of Dinar.
I recite it about Malik, son of Dinar.
