سكنى القصور ومنزَهُ الحركات

سكنى القصور ومنزَهُ الحركات

With victory, good fortune, and blessings,

With victory, prosperity, and blessings

Residence in palaces and a pleasure ground for roaming,

My dwelling became palaces and elegant abodes

في ظلّ ملك بالسعود تمنحت

في ظلّ ملك بالسعود تمنحت

في سائر الحركات والسكنات

في سائر الحركات والسكنات

In a king's shade, endowed with good fortune

In the shade of a king of Al Saud I wished

In every movement and moment of rest.

For the rest of the dwellings and abodes

وعمائر موصولة بعمائرٍ

وعمائر موصولة بعمائرٍ

طيارة في الذكر والغرفات

طيارة في الذكر والغرفات

And edifices joined to edifices,

With buildings connected to buildings

Soaring in renown and in their upper chambers.

Flying high with fame and rooms

والناسُ إما مادحٌ أو مطربٌ

والناسُ إما مادحٌ أو مطربٌ

بثنائه الموصول بالنغمات

بثنائه الموصول بالنغمات

And the people are either praising or singing,

And people either praising or singing songs

With praise of him entwined with melodies.

About his continuous praises with melodies

والكل بين يديك خادمُ صنعةٍ

والكل بين يديك خادمُ صنعةٍ

ينشي وينشد والزمان مؤاتي

ينشي وينشد والزمان مؤاتي

And all before you are servants of their craft,

And all are in your service, doing their crafts

Composing and reciting, while the times are favorable.

Composing and reciting while time is favorable

يا جودَ سلطان العبادِ ومدحنا

يا جودَ سلطان العبادِ ومدحنا

طابَ الصبوحُ لنا فهاك وهات

طابَ الصبوحُ لنا فهاك وهات

O bounty of the sultan of mankind, and our praise—

O generosity of the Sultan of servants, our praises

The morning draught is sweet to us: so take this, and give!

The mornings have been good for us, so here you are, take

وأرى صبوحك كاس أجر أو ثنىً

وأرى صبوحك كاس أجر أو ثنىً

فاشرب هنيئاً يا أخا اللذات

فاشرب هنيئاً يا أخا اللذات

And I see your morning draught as a cup of reward or praise;

And I see your dawns like a cup of reward or folded

So drink with pleasure, O brother of delights.

So drink happily, O brother of delights
