عَذيريَmy vindicator منهagainst him معرِضاًturning away متجنِّياًaccusing unjustly
عَذيريَ منه معرِضاً متجنِّياً
كأنِّيas though I لهfor him نحوَtoward الودادِaffection أجاذِبI tug
كأنِّي له نحوَ الودادِ أجاذِب
Who will take my side against him, turning away and accusing me unjustly,
My excuse to him turning away, evading
as though I were tugging him toward affection?
As if to love I'm enticing him

He grew harder than the mountains, and did not answer
Harsh beyond the harshness of mountains, he didn't answer
my call, while the mountains’ echoes answer back.
My call, while the mountains' echoes respond
