With the goodness of Homs we seek aid against adversity

in your presence, and look to him to compose panegyrics.

It is with you, and we hope for it, for composing praises

ووالله ما نوفي أياديك حقّها

إذا نحن أثنينا عليك بصالح

إذا نحن أثنينا عليك بصالح

And by God, we do not give your favors their due

And by God we do not repay your favors their due
