full moons and gazelles—so I said to them: "Stop!

بعيشك يا غزلان لا تتعبي

بعيشك يا غزلان لا تتعبي

عليه ويا أقمار لا تتكلَّفي

عليه ويا أقمار لا تتكلَّفي

By your life, O gazelles, do not tire yourselves

Oh gazelles, don’t tire yourself out

over him; and O moons, do not strain yourselves."

Pursuing him, and oh moons don’t exert yourselves
