قل للإمام الذي جلت صنائعه
عندِيin my eyes وعندand in the eyes of عفاةseekers of bounty البدوthe nomads والحضرand the townsfolk
عندِي وعند عفاة البدو والحضر
Tell the imam whose benefactions are great
Say to the Imam whose deeds are sublime
In my eyes and those of seekers of bounty among nomads and townsfolk:
In my eyes and the eyes of nomads and townsmen alike
ياO منyou who أغاثَaided بذيwith the possessor of القرنينthe two horns أضحيتيmy sacrificial offering
يا من أغاثَ بذي القرنين أضحيتي
بقيتmay you endure للدينfor the faith والدُّنياand the world بقاthe endurance of الخضرal-Khidr
بقيت للدين والدُّنيا بقا الخضر
O you who aided my sacrifice with the two-horned one,
O you who came to the aid of Dhu al-Qarnayn in his plight
May you endure for faith and world as al-Khidr endures.
You remained for religion and worldly life ever verdant
