Tell the chief Jamal al-Din: may there always be
Tell the president Jamal al-Din, I will not rest
A firm foundation and comfort in his gifts.
His gifts are of founding and solace
واصلsustain رجائيmy hope بعرفwith the comb of الدِّيكthe rooster مقتبلاًin its prime
واصل رجائي بعرف الدِّيك مقتبلاً
لنwill not يذهبbe lost العرفkindness عندbefore اللهGod والناسand people
لن يذهب العرف عند الله والناس
Sustain my hope with the comb of a rooster in its prime;
Continue my hopes with his noble spirit ahead
Kindness will not be lost before God and people.
Good manners with God and people will never fade
