بموسى أستجر وسليمان عذْ

فنعمَ الوزيرُ ونعمَ الأمير

فنعمَ الوزيرُ ونعمَ الأمير

Seek protection with Musa, and take refuge in Sulayman.

With Moses I seek help, and with Solomon refuge,

For how excellent the vizier, and how excellent the emir!

So excellent is the vizier, and excellent is the emir,

ولا تخشَ بينهما عسرةً

ولا تخشَ بينهما عسرةً

بديوان حشر دمشق العسير

بديوان حشر دمشق العسير

And fear no hardship between the two of them

And fear not between them hardship,

At the bureau of Damascus's arduous gathering.

With the registry of resurrection, difficult Damascus,

فلله لطف لديهم يقو

فلله لطف لديهم يقو

ل ذلك حشرٌ لدينا يسير

ل ذلك حشرٌ لدينا يسير

For God has a kindness among them that says:

For God has kindness with them, He says

“That is a gathering easy for us.”

All that a registry with us is easy.
