O you, by praising whom we have bought
O you whose praises we bought
the wealth of your two hands among humankind.
With riches overflowing among people
هانتwere of little worth عليكto you اللهىthe gifts of money فأضحتand so they became
هانت عليك اللهى فأضحت
تباعare sold فيamong الناسthe people بالكلامfor words
تباع في الناس بالكلام
Gifts of money meant so little to you that they came
You became cheap, my God, so now
to be sold among people for words.
You are sold among people with mere words
