يا سيدي وابن ساداتي الذين على

أبوابهم صحّ عندي باب أفراحي
O my lord, and son of my lords, at whose
O my master, son of my noble masters, at whose doors
Doors the gateway to my joys was firmly established for me.
My door of joy is rightly placed,
قدhad كنتI was فيat البابthe door معwith ياقوتYaqut متحداًunited
قد كنت في الباب مع ياقوت متحداً
فعوَّضواso they compensated عبدَa servant أبوابdoors بمفتاحٍwith a key
فعوَّضوا عبدَ أبواب بمفتاحٍ
I had been at the door, united with Yaqut;
I was united at the door with a precious ruby—
So they compensated a servant of doors with a key.
They replaced a doorkeeper with a key.
