يا وزيراً شملَ الآفا

O minister who has embraced the horizons
O minister whose generosity encompasses all,
with gracious bounty,
Your enlightenment in university is wisdom for shooting stars,
قالَsaid تنويركَyour illumination فيin الجاthe mosque (first part)
قالَ تنويركَ في الجا
معِcompletion of 'the mosque' للشهبِto the stars حكيهa tale
معِ للشهبِ حكيه
your illumination in the mosque told
You have auspicious stars,
the stars a tale:
And shining lamps,
أنجميmy stars عندكwith you سعدgood fortune
أنجمي عندك سعد
وقناديلand lamps مضيّهshining
وقناديل مضيّه
“My stars with you are auspicious,
How could it not be so when they are with God's light, virtuous deeds.
and lamps shining bright.”
كيفَhow لاnot وهيand they بنورِby the light of اللGod (first part)
كيفَ لا وهي بنورِ الل
هcompletion of 'God' أعمالdeeds زكيّهvirtuous
ه أعمال زكيّه
How could it be otherwise, when by God's light
they are virtuous deeds?
