دنيا وفي آخرةٍ أيضا
O friend through whom we hope for benefit in
O companion from whom we hope for benefit
This world and in the hereafter too,
In this life and in the hereafter as well
فيin السرّsecrecy والجهرand openness بأحوالناin our affairs
في السرّ والجهر بأحوالنا
كمhow many لكَyours ياO موسىMusa يدٌa hand بيضاwhite
كم لكَ يا موسى يدٌ بيضا
In secret and in public, in our affairs—
In private and in public in our affairs
How many a white hand is yours, O Musa!
How white is your hand, O Moses!
