أيا تاجَ دين الله شكراً لأنعمٍ

أيا تاجَ دين الله شكراً لأنعمٍ

أجبتَ بها راجيك من قبل ما دعا

أجبتَ بها راجيك من قبل ما دعا

O crown of God's faith, thanks for the favors

O crown of the religion of God, thank You for blessings

with which you answered the one hoping in you before he asked.

With which You answered him who implored You before he called to You

وأبقيتها تستنطق الخلق بالثنا

وأبقيتها تستنطق الخلق بالثنا

وتشهد بالأجر الملائك أجمعا

وتشهد بالأجر الملائك أجمعا

And you made them endure, drawing praise from humankind

And You kept them to speak to mankind in praise

and calling all the angels to witness the reward.

And to bear witness to the reward - all the angels together

وإن قصرت عن بارعِ الحمد قدرتي

وإن قصرت عن بارعِ الحمد قدرتي

فوالله ما قصَّرت عن نافع الدعا

فوالله ما قصَّرت عن نافع الدعا

And though my ability falls short of eloquent praise,

And if my ability falls short of the excellent praise

yet, by God, I have not failed to offer beneficial prayers.

By God, it falls not short of the beneficial prayer
