خير قصدي ولم يكن عن رجائي
No, by your bounty, the cause of the delay was not
No, I swear it was not to delay
my intention, nor did it stem from my hope.
My purpose, nor in hope of your reply,
إنَّماonly كانwas هيضةa bout of diarrhea حققتْmade clear ليto me
إنَّما كان هيضة حققتْ لي
أنَّthat حاليmy state فيin البعدِseparation حالُa state of خراءِshit
أنَّ حالي في البعدِ حالُ خراءِ
