بلادٍ لعيشي فيها حرَج
My God, I have been spared beating in

lands where my livelihood is beset by hardship.
Lands where my livelihood was constrained
وأرجوand I hope for الخلاصdeliverance فقرّبso bring close بهthrough it
وأرجو الخلاص فقرّب به
لبابto the gate of السلامةsafety بابthe gate of الفرجrelief
لباب السلامة باب الفرج
And I hope for deliverance; so, through it, draw
And I hope for deliverance, so bring me near
the gate of relief close to the gate of safety.
To the door of safety, the door of relief
