لو ساعدتني حالة كانَ لي

لو ساعدتني حالة كانَ لي

ببعض من لاقكمُ اُسوه

ببعض من لاقكمُ اُسوه

If circumstances favored me, I would have

If circumstances helped me gain

an example in some of those who have met you,

Some of your kind company again,

حتَّى ترى عيني مقام العلى

حتَّى ترى عيني مقام العلى

وكعبة المعروف في الكسوه

وكعبة المعروف في الكسوه

so that my eye might behold the station of eminence

My eyes would see the highest place,

and the Kaaba of generosity in al-Kiswah.
