    متطارحين من الكلام بديعه

    I would ransom a friend; he and I, in his anger, were

    exchanging the finest of speech.

  2. ما زالت الحساد تسعى بيننا

    حتى تناكرنا الكلام جميعه

    The envious kept sowing discord between us,

    until we disavowed every word.
