I donned a robe of glory made of praises;
I wore the robe of glory of eulogies
its favors have ceased to reach us.
Whose familiarity to us was severed

Those praises have two sleeves, of verse and prose.
It has responding couplets of poetry and prose
Hail to you from us, O Rudayna!
Hail to you who brought it back to life, our responding one
