نزّهتI deemed too noble وعدكyour promise أنto أذكِّركI remind you الوفاkeeping faith
نزّهت وعدك أن أذكِّرك الوفا
ياO منone who نداهُhis bounty لمنfor whoever رجاهhoped in him ضمينa guarantor
يا من نداهُ لمن رجاه ضمين
I deem your promise too noble for me to remind you to keep it.
I promised to remind you of loyalty
O you whose bounty stands surety for whoever hopes in you,
O you whose call is guaranteed for those who hope in you
ياO منone who إذاwhen مزجmingles الدعاءprayer لهfor him الولاdevotion
يا من إذا مزج الدعاء له الولا
قالsays الرجاhope فيin الحالتينboth cases أمينAmen
قال الرجا في الحالتين أمين
O you, when devotion mingles with prayer on your behalf,
O you who when supplication is mixed for him with devotion
Hope says “Amen” in both cases.
Hope says amen in both states
