God bless you—how pure and noble your resolve,

Yours is the most pure and noble ambition,

And how praiseworthy your work, where praises are recited!

And the most praiseworthy endeavor when praises are recited,

لعمري لقد خلدتها شرفية

لعمري لقد خلدتها شرفية

تضيء وتبقى حين تبلى الفراقد

تضيء وتبقى حين تبلى الفراقد

By my life, the Sharafiyya has immortalized it,

By my life, you have made it eternally glorious,

Shining and enduring when the Farqad stars decay.

It shines and endures when graves decay,

وأنت الذي قرت برؤيته العلى

وأنت الذي قرت برؤيته العلى

وهنئت الدنيا بأنك خالد

وهنئت الدنيا بأنك خالد

And you are the one at whose sight glory was gladdened,

You who dwelt in seeing the Most High,

And the world was congratulated on your being Khalid—everlasting.

And made the world joyous that you are eternal.
