رجعت إلى مغناكَ والحمد والدعا

يبثَّان لفظاً في المنازل لا يحصى

يبثَّان لفظاً في المنازل لا يحصى

I returned to your abode; the sacred precinct and the prayer

I returned to your abode, while praise and supplication

both spread your words through dwellings beyond all counting,

are voiced in countless words throughout the dwellings,

وفي المسجدِ الأقصى وفي الربع إذ دنا

وفي المسجدِ الأقصى وفي الربع إذ دنا

فقد شهد الأدنى بذلك والأقصى

فقد شهد الأدنى بذلك والأقصى

in al-Aqsa Mosque, and in the encampment as it drew near—

and in al-Aqsa Mosque, and in the abode as it drew near;

for the near and the far alike have borne witness to that.

for the nearest and the farthest have borne witness to that.
