إنif صارbecomes سفريmy journey كالسعيدlike al-Sa‘id الذيwho
إن صار سفري كالسعيد الذي
يسمىis called فمدحيthen my praise كعبيدlike ‘Ubayd الرحيمal-Rahim (the Merciful)
يسمى فمدحي كعبيد الرحيم
If my journey becomes like al-Sa‘id, who
is so called, then my praise is like ‘Ubayd al-Rahim’s.
ياسينYasin منwho حولchanged رجائيmy hope فقلthen say
ياسين من حول رجائي فقل
سبحانglory be to منthe One who يحييrevives العظامthe bones الرميمdecayed
سبحان من يحيي العظام الرميم
Yasin, you who changed my hope, then say:
Glory be to Him who brings decayed bones to life.
