لا تعاتب من غير جرمٍ ولا تج
علmake (completion) عقابpunishment الأنامhumankind فيin الأرزاقlivelihoods
عل عقاب الأنام في الأرزاق
Do not reproach without an offense, nor make
people’s livelihoods a means of punishment.
وتعلمand know بأنthat حظّكyour share أوفىmore abundant
وتعلم بأن حظّك أوفى
فيin اتِّصالcontinuance الأرفادgifts والإرفاقand kindness
في اتِّصال الأرفاد والإرفاق
And know that your share is more abundant
when gifts and kindness continue.
لكfor you منَّاfrom us صفوthe purest of المحامدpraises والأجand the reward (first part)
لك منَّا صفو المحامد والأج
رreward (completion) وأرزاقناand our sustenance علىin the charge of الخلاَّقthe Creator
ر وأرزاقنا على الخلاَّق
From us you have the purest praise and reward;
and our sustenance rests with the Creator.
