The subtleties of my poetry said:

“Match a generous man in Egypt;

فعنده بيت بحرٍ

فعنده بيت بحرٍ

وعندنا بيت شعرِ

وعندنا بيت شعرِ

for he has a sea’s house,

and we have a verse of poetry.”
