Sol 6.1

  1. دواة لها جنس الحديد وبأسه

    وزادت عليه في الندى فهي أبهر

    An inkwell with iron’s substance and might;

    yet it surpassed iron in bounty, and so is more dazzling.

  2. وكمَّل معناها يراعك منشئاً

    ففولاذها في الحالتين مجوهر

    And your reed pen, composing, perfected its meaning;

    so its steel is jewel-like in both states.
