What harm would your generosity suffer, my lord,
if, in my case, it strayed beyond moderation?
ياO عينessence آماليmy hopes إذاwhen استجمعتthey gathered together
يا عين آمالي إذا استجمعت
إنيindeed I إلىtoward موردwatering place لقياكmeeting you صادthirsty
إني إلى مورد لقياك صاد
O essence of my hopes when they all come together,
Indeed, I thirst for the watering place of meeting you.
