O shaykh of the learned and the ascetic, among
the leaders of the people of kindness and fellowship,
ليI have خرقةa cloak ضاعتwas lost وأنتand you الذيthe one who
لي خرقة ضاعت وأنت الذي
نلبسwe wear منfrom عرفانهhis bounty الخرقهْthe cloak
نلبس من عرفانه الخرقهْ
A cloak of mine is lost, and you are the one
through whose bounty we wear the cloak.
