هنيئاً لمولانا علوًّا علوته
يحقُّis due لهto him فرطthe utmost degree of الولاءallegiance منfrom الناسthe people
يحقُّ له فرط الولاء من الناس
Congratulations to our lord on the eminence you have attained.
Congratulations to our master, exalted his exaltation,
He deserves the people's utmost allegiance.
The people's excessive loyalty is his rightful due.
دعانيcalled me نداهُhis generosity حينwhen حدتُI turned away عنfrom الورىhumankind
دعاني نداهُ حين حدتُ عن الورى
فلبَّيتهso I answered him عشراًten times وقلتand I said علىupon راسيmy head
فلبَّيته عشراً وقلت على راسي
His generosity called me when I turned away from humankind.
His call summoned me when I wandered from the path,
So I answered his call ten times and said, "Upon my head!"
I answered his call ardently and said: "At your service!"
