هنئتَ بالنعم الجميله

يا صاحب النعم الجزيلهْ

يا صاحب النعم الجزيلهْ

Congratulations on the beautiful blessings,

You have been blessed with beautiful bounty,

O possessor of abundant blessings.

O possessor of abundant bounty.

ست تخبرنا النقا

ست تخبرنا النقا

أنها ست جليلهْ

أنها ست جليلهْ

A lady—the dunes tell us

These six will tell the truth

that she is an illustrious lady.

That they are grand.

وكذاك ألف مثلها

وكذاك ألف مثلها

فاهنأ بعقباها الكفيلهْ

فاهنأ بعقباها الكفيلهْ

And likewise a thousand like her;

And a thousand more like them,

so rejoice in the promise her future holds.

So be congratulated for their sufficient consequence.

وديار ضدك ذَمته

وديار ضدك ذَمته

وسيوف حيلته كليلهْ

وسيوف حيلته كليلهْ

And your foe’s dwellings have reproached him,

And lands whose covenant opposes you,

and the swords of his cunning are blunt.

And swords rendered powerless by your stratagem.
